MEET-UP LOCATION: Sky Bridge Viewing Area Parking Lot

(DIRECTIONS BELOW but read entire page first)

Little bit about this walk:

Distance: Very short walk…(about the length of half of a football field)
Footwear needed for this trail: Sneakers, hiking boots, good walking shoes are suggested.  This trail is not suitable for heels.
Type of trail: Dirt Path gently sloping downhill.  Easy path.  One or two small roots to walk over.
Accessibility: This trail is not wheelchair accessible.  This trail is not suitable for those who have a difficult time walking.

Three Important Things before you begin:
• Do your homework and allow plenty of time for travel.  Our roads are very curvy and we must start the ceremony on time. If you get lost, contact 606-481-6199 and I may still have phone service to help you.
• Where it says “Continue straight onto Sky Bridge Rd”, …you are actually turning and or baring to the left but it’s more like going straight because the road you’ve been on makes a hairpin turn to the right, please do not take the sharp curve (take a screen shot of the photo below for future reference)
• The very last road you are turning on is a service road road that is easy to miss.  Look for small brown sign that says “245A”.
• Do not park in the road:   There is limited parking spots for this site (approximately 4).  If you are part of a large wedding party, please park at the upper Sky Bridge parking area near the restrooms and walk down 245A or shuttle guest from the large parking lot to the site area and wait. In the busy season of the Gorge the parking is limited but usually cars move in and out pretty quickly, please be patient and courteous.  Again, you cannot park in the paved road that makes a loop.
